A driving forward of this agreed strategy, negotiating with technical support services to achieve this quickly

VLE support consisting of getting the most effective use out of the School’s Virtual Learning Environment and providing strategies to enable everyone (teachers, TAs, pupils, parents and carers) to use its facilities to the full

Looking at new technologies and keeping schools regularly informed of opportunities where technology can enhance learning, especially personalised learning and the Assessment for Learning agenda

Share exemplar practice with the partnership schools and produce exemplar lessons in different subjects using ICT to enhance these lessons

Work alongside Primary Strategy Consultants and identify opportunities where ICT will extend teaching and learning - Focus areas: English, Mathematics, Science and the new cross-curriculum dimensions

On-site support to get the most out of the equipment that the school has and make sure new equipment being bought is fit for purpose

Negotiate with ICT providers to ensure best value of equipment and software for the partnership schools

Also included:
Twilight sessions as and when needed
Working alongside teachers and TAs to explore opportunities and improve their ICT skills
On-site courses that support identified needs, this, if appropriate, will take place with other schools
A yearly ICT health check
Monthly action reports
